Advertising:
Commissioned Research and Analysis for a fast-growing global advertising services company. Scope of research was limited to a one-week deadline for collection of news and interviews for five (5) rival advertising conglomerates, detailing their recent mergers and acquisitions strategy, current major client relationships and revenue sources and future plans for growth. Project culminated in delivery of each of five competitor growth profiles on schedule and summary analysis of likely future plans based upon scenario planning techniques and study of past growth vectors.


Insurance:
Commissioned Research and Analysis for a major international life insurance company. Project scope was to provide deliverable intelligence product covering the four (4) main Factors Impacting Product Performance with Five (5) Year Averages for the 40 major stock and mutual life insurers in the U.S. Primary objective of this project was to compile data for assembly into a product brochure for agent salesforce to prospect with; secondary objective of the project was for industry sector benchmarking of key success factors (KSFs). Aurora delivered results for the following four evaluation criteria -- Lapses (Ordinary Life Renewal Lapse Ratio), Expenses (General Expense to Premium Ratio), Investments (Investment Yield Ratio), and Mortality (Mortality Ratio). Since all firms in the industry need to address the same areas over time, a company that is more efficient in these areas provides better value to its policy holders. Raw data was gathered from Best's Insurance Reports, U.S. Annual Statements (NAIC) and other primary sources.
